Internet Business Plan

by siborg on August 19, 2010

Most people join a network marketing company have the idea that they will magically start receiving commissions in their first month of joining and without spending any money at all, this is not the case, as you will have to invest some money and time on a network marketing business in order to gain a return, the actual cost will vary greatly depending on the marketers experience, if you are a newbie you will certainly waste some money as you will not have the experience and knowledge to know where and what to spend your marketing budget on. Using a system such as MLSP you can work out how much it is going to cost you before you begin and you can then see if it is affordable, you will be able to see what you need to get started and work out exactly how much this will cost.

The basic tools that you need in an Internet business plan to get started are a marketing system, a domain name, an auto responder and at least one affiliate product, the cost of these is minimal and will offer great value as I will explain in detail.

There is no point in starting a network marketing business without having a marketing system because if you don’t have one you will have no idea who has visited your website and you will not be able to follow them up. MLSP offers capture pages, a follow up process, ongoing training and a host of other features for a monthly fee of just $49.97, this may sound expensive but if you work it out is approx $1.50 a day so it is great value, and you probably spend this everyday on coffee etc without even realizing it. MLSP has a full 30 day risk free money back guarantee trial of just $29.97

The second tool that you will need is a domain name, you can use the default links in MLSP but having your own domain name is more professional, will give you more credibility and is worth the small investment of usually less than $10.00 yearly, check with your domain registrar as discounts are available for different packages.

MLSP comes with a built in auto responder included in the monthly fee and this is OK as they take care of everything such as sending out the regular weekly webinar e-mail and other newsletters to your list and you do not need to do anything and is great if you are a newbie, but having your own auto responder system has advantages as you can have as many list’s as you like and all your prospects on those list are yours to keep, also there are other marketing features such as the ability to make your own web forms for your own websites, A Weber is $1.00 to try for 30 days and has a  monthly fee of $19.00 thereafter.

An affiliate product that is recommended is Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring E-Book and apart from being a worthwhile investment, because it will help you to understand attraction marketing, also offers a great affiliate program; you buy the book for a onetime fee of $39.00 and for that you get a PDF book that is an essential read, two bonus books and an audio training file in digital down load form and you automatically become an affiliate of Magnetic Sponsoring. For each sale of Magnetic Sponsoring that you make from your affiliate link you will be paid a commission of $20.00, you don’t have to be a genius to work out that you will be in profit after just two sales.

So there you have it, you can start your own network marketing business for an initial start up cost of $76.96 and then a monthly fee of just $68.90, this a very small outlay when compared with a traditional business and has the potential for a great return, but you have to remember that this is a 2 to 5 year plan and that you should not expect results right away.

Website Optimization

by siborg on July 28, 2010

Website optimization is a very important factor in Internet marketing and is one that is quite often overlooked by the marketer as many just add keywords to their websites without doing proper keyword research and they just hope that their site will end up on the first page of Google.
There are lots of factors that Google will consider when ranking your site such as the age of your domain, older domains rank better than ones that have just been registered, the length of time that your domain is registered for i.e. when you purchase your domain you are given the option for a one, two, three or more years registration period and Google will rank domains with longer registration periods better than those with short registration periods, so it will pay to register your domain for two years or more. Other factors include the number and the quality of back links that link to your site i.e. if you have a back link from Apple dot com for example, Google will see this as a high quality link and will think that your site is very important and you will score lots of rank points for this, you will also score lots of rank points if you have lots of other sites linking to your site.
Each market has a niche and any one in any particular market will type in specific keywords and keyword phrases in order to find out more information in that market so for example if you are interested in photography you will type in to Google a phrase such as photography tips and Google will return sites on tips to taking great photo’s but if you type in photography pricing you will generate a different result even though these example key words are similar. One of the biggest factors in success is choosing the right keywords and if you get this wrong you will have little or no results.
There are four golden rules that you should follow when researching keywords and these are
• Relevance
• Competition
• Traffic
• Commerciality

If the content on your site is not relevant to your keywords then your visitors will not be interested in what they find on your site resulting in lots of traffic but very few sales.
You should always take the time to assess the levels of competition, although there are lots of sites competing for the same keyword you just need to know how to out run your competitors.
Different Keywords generate different levels of traffic; you need to research these to find which one of your keywords will give you high levels of traffic.
You also need to target keywords with a high monetary flow as these have the potential to generate large amounts of profits.
All four of these rules apply and getting just one of them wrong will result in little or no traffic and no profit so it is important that you study all of the points mentioned.
Optimizing your website with the right keywords and phrases will take some time but will pay off in the end as you will learn about keywords and which ones will rank higher than others in your particular niche market.
